AP 2D Design student Emily Loftin ’26 has been accepted into the 2025 Drexel University High School Photography Contest Exhibition. Her photograph, “Too Far from Freedom,” now appears in the national showcase. The exhibition opened February 2 at Drexel University's Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design in Philadelphia.

Loftin’s work was chosen from a competitive pool of student submissions from across the country, according to Drexel University’s contest coordinator. The annual exhibition highlights outstanding high school photographers and culminates with the selection of six national award winners.

Participants were invited to submit high-resolution digital files for final judging, with winners announced in early January. More information about the national contest and exhibition can be found through Drexel University’s Photography Program. Congratulations, Emily! #BulldogProud #BollesArts
