Upper School San Jose Campus science teacher Michael Lipp will perform in a three-person play called “The Lifespan of a Fact” as part of A Classic Theatre (ACT) in St. Augustine, Florida.

According to ACT, the play focuses on Jim Fingal, a fresh-out-of-Harvard fact checker for a prominent but sinking New York magazine. Lipp plays John D’Agata, a talented writer with a transcendent essay that could save the magazine from collapse. When Jim is assigned to fact check D’Agata’s essay, the two come head-to-head in a comedic yet gripping battle over facts versus truth.

Evening performances will be held October 7, 8, 14 and 15 at 7:30 p.m. at The Waterworks, located at 184 San Marco Ave. in St. Augustine. Matinees are scheduled for October 9 and October 16 at 2 p.m.
