AP Spanish Literature and Culture students on the Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus held a virtual conference with Dr. Jorge Majfud, a Jacksonville University professor, on February 21 in the Chahlavi Center for Global Learning & Engagement.

Majfud gave a lecture on the Spanish avant-garde play “La Casa de Bernarda Alba” by playwright and poet Federico Garcia Lorca. Students interacted with the guest speaker and asked questions about the play and the historical, political and social contexts.
