Kenji Hirata, the General Counsel of Japan in Miami, is in Jacksonville this week for a Bolles visit. On Monday, Consul Hirata met with President and Head of School Tyler Hodges before visiting classrooms and learning about the Bolles community. Japanese Teacher Yukari Braren showed him around the campus and made introductions. She said Hirata's goals were to incorporate more educational outreach from the Consulate and to observe Bolles' Japanese classes.
