Hunger Awareness Focus of PVB Initiative
color orange

Students on the Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus are learning about the pervasive nature of hunger and how it affects people in every community all over the world.

On September 17, students will call attention to this issue by wearing orange as they honor Hunger Action Day. The initiative is part of Stand Against Hunger in September month, which is embraced by food banks coast to coast, including Feeding Northeast Florida in this area. On Hunger Action Day, people across the country are asked to volunteer or wear orange to raise awareness of hunger and making a greater hunger-fighting impact.

Students and families also were encouraged to visit Feeding Northeast Florida’s website to see how they could make a difference in this important mission.
