The Bolles National Honor Society Alpha Chapter announced newly inducted members remotely this year.

In addition to meeting the academic pillar, members of the NHS are individuals who have demonstrated distinction in the three additional pillars of the society — service, leadership and character — as described here by the national organization:

• Service  - These students are involved in voluntary contributions made to the school or community, done without compensation.
• Leadership -  Student leaders are resourceful, good problem solvers and idea contributors. Leadership experiences can be drawn from school or community activities.
• Character - The student of good character is cooperative; demonstrates high standards of honesty and reliability; shows courtesy, concern and respect for others; and generally maintains a clean disciplinary record.
