President and Head of School Tyler Hodges announced the President’s List winners during the January 9 Second Quarter Honors Convocation on the Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus.
The winners are students who have gone “above and beyond” in their demonstration of The Bolles Way – Pursuing excellence through courage, integrity and compassion.
This quarter, two students received President’s List medallions for their example of servant leadership. The students named to the President’s List were Caitlyn Boyer ’21 and Cate Haskell ’20.
“These solid students are very involved in their sports, yet they still found time to run one of the best organized and most successful food drives for Woodland Acres Bolles has managed in years,” Hodges said. “Under their guidance, Bolles campuses collected nearly double the food this year as last year and delivered over 4,000 food items to those in need. Organizing and leading a wonderful team of 37 students working on the drive and 26 going to deliver the food, these two students showed initiative and brought honor to the Bolles community.”
Boyer and Haskell chaired the 2019 Woodland Acres Food Drive.
