Bolles alumnus Charles Hicks ’19 posted an impressive result in his marathon debut, placing seventh overall in the New York City Marathon on November 2 in a time of 2:09:59. He was second among United States competitors in the race and his time ranks 40^th all-time for U.S. competitors at the marathon distance.

Hicks currently races professionally for Nike, training with the Bowerman Track Club in Eugene, Oregon. View an in-depth post-race interview with Hicks below.
