Goll ’26 Named to FHSAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
Leila Goll

Leila Goll ’26 has been selected to be a member of the 2024-25 FHSAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. The FHSAA Student-Athlete Advisory serves as a critical link in identifying topics, issues and concerns that face the student-athletes of Florida.

This year, the FHSAA received over 60 applications from students across Florida. These members were chosen based on their sports participation, extracurriculars, essay and leadership skills.

Goll’s bio shared in the FHSAA announcement states that she “is a member of her school’s basketball team. Leila has participated in Hugh O’Brian Leadership Academy and Youth Leadership Jacksonville. She is a member of Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Young Life. With her membership on SAAC, Leila hopes to foster an environment where athletes can compete at a high level while also maintaining relationships and strong mental health.”

The SAAC committee will meet three times a year to discuss their issues, share their perspective and create special initiatives for the school year.  Their meetings will be held on October 7, 2024; January 20, 2025 and March 3, 2025.
