The Bolles girls’ track and field team won the program’s seventh team state championship, tying for first in the team standings at the Class 2A meet on May 7 at UNF. The state championship tie is just the second in FHSAA history, previously happening in 1977. The state title is the sixth this school year and the 169^th overall in Bolles Athletics’ history.

The state title is Head Coach Tony Ryan’s first as the girls’ track and field head coach and second in track and field having coached the Bolles boys to a title in 1999. He served as an assistant coach for the girls’ previous six titles and has won 13 state titles in girls’ cross country in his career.

The Bulldogs built an early lead with strong performances in the field events and closed with several points in the distance events. Individual state champions for the Bolles girls were Sienna Starks ’26 in the pole vault and Evie Freeman ’26 in the long jump. State runner-up finishes included Terrell McCoy ’26 in the shot put, Sofie Stam ’29 in the 1600 and 3200 and the 4x800 relay (Stam, Ella McGowan ’26, Lila McGowan ’28, Charlotte Joseph ’26). Additional team points came from Camilla Clarke ’26 in the shot put (3^rd) and discus (5^th), McCoy in the discus (4^th),  Tori Sessions ’28 in the high jump (4^th), Wynter Green ’28 in the triple jump (5^th), Joseph in the 800 (5^th) and 1600 (6^th) and Ari Walker ’26 in the 100 hurdles (8^th).

The Bolles boys tied for 16^th in the team standings. Aaron Ches ’28 led the way with a state runner-up finish in the 3200. Additional point scorers were Aidan Chandler ’27 in the 1600 (7^th) and the 4x800 relay (Ches, Chandler, Brantley Rigdon ’28, Kiran Parekh’ 27).
