Girls’ and Boys’ Soccer Teams Advance to Region Finals
The Bolles varsity girls’ and boys’ soccer teams advanced in the state playoffs with recent wins. The girls won 2-1 at P.K. Yonge in a Region 1-3A semifinal on February 19. The boys earned a 4-1 regional semifinal victory over visiting Episcopal on February 20.
Izzy Kimberly ’21 scored the game-winning goal in the second overtime period for the girls. Alexi Pitt ’22 scored for the Bulldogs in regulation. Gabe Coleman ’24 scored twice in the boys’ win along with goals from Gage White ’21 and Juan Fernandez ’22.
The girls will host South Walton in the Region 1-3A Final on Tuesday, February 23 at 5:30 p.m. The boys will follow, hosting South Walton on the same night at 7:30 p.m.
