Bulldogs still enjoyed some Friday night lights action last week, despite being “safer at home.”
The Speech and Debate Student Congress convened on Schoology video conferencing April 3 to debate the Juvenile Detention Bill and The Prisoner Reform Act. Cameron Gratz and Matt Keller were the presiding officers.
“We had some new members and it was a lot of fun,” said faculty leader Marie Kervin. She said Senators Posick, Kasavaraju, Libby, Sun, Scherkenbach, Schimpff and Patel did a great job in their debate.
“Debating government acts of Congress for nearly two hours on a Friday night was a brilliant way to end the week,” Kervin said.
