Bolles alumnus Shaune Fraser ’06 is among nine members of the 2020 University of Florida Athletic Hall of Fame class, announced by UF’s F Club and Gator Boosters on April 27. Each year, the F Club Committee selects members to the Hall of Fame in three categories: Gator Greats, Distinguished Letterwinners, and Honorary Letterwinners. Fraser was named a Gator Great, as a letterwinner who brought recognition and prominence to the University of Florida and himself through his athletic accomplishments as a student-athlete. His fellow inductees include Tim Tebow and Billy Donovan.
Fraser swam for the Gators from 2006-10, winning three individual national titles, breaking the collegiate record in the 200-yard butterfly, winning seven individual SEC titles, and earning a UF-record 27 All-America honors. A two-time Olympian (2004, 2008), Fraser was honored with being the flag bearer for the Cayman Islands at the 2008 Games.
Information related to the induction ceremony will be announced at a later date.
