Despite being off-campus and in their home work spaces, fourth grade students on the Bolles Lower School Whitehurst Campus continue to work diligently on their Florida Day presentations. Florida Day is a much anticipated unit in Grade 4. Students select a famous character, person or type of person from Florida history and design presentations that engage the senses. In years past, displays include food, visual presentations, facts and students in elaborate costumes. This year, students are working on the audio visual portion of the project. They have every hope the finished project will garner the same attention and appreciation as their predecessors’!
