Football Advances to State Semifinals for 25th Time
The Bolles football team defeated visiting Pensacola Catholic 44-10 on November 28 to advance to the state semifinals for the 25th time in program history. Xander Edwards ’28 led Bolles in rushing with 165 yards and three touchdowns. Jaden Weatherly ’26 threw for three touchdowns and Naeem Burroughs ’26 had 121 yards receiving with two touchdowns. Chance Faucheaux ’26 led the Bulldogs in tackles with seven and Asher Ghioto ’28 recorded two sacks. Simeon Caldwell ’26 and Jeremiah Moses ’29 each made an interception.
Bolles will host Cardinal Gibbons in the state semifinals at Skinner-Barco Stadium on Friday, December 5, at 7 p.m. Admission is $11 (including Bolles students). Tickets may be purchased HERE ($12.55 with fees). The radio broadcast will air on 1010XL and video will stream on the NFHS Network.
