Football Advances to State Final

The Bolles football team advanced to the state final for the 20th time in program history with a dominant 42-20 victory over Cardinal Gibbons in the semifinals on December 5 in Skinner-Barco Stadium. Xander Edwards ’28 led the Bulldogs with five rushing touchdowns and Jaden Weatherly ’26 added a touchdown pass to Camden Tietze ’27. The Bolles defense held the Chiefs to six points through three quarters with Cardinal Gibbons adding two late scores with the game well in hand.

Bolles will face top-seeded Cardinal Mooney in the Class 2A State Championship on Wednesday, December 10, at 7:30 p.m. The game will be held at South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium on Florida International University’s campus in Miami. Tickets can be purchased via GoFan when made available by the FHSAA. Admission is $17 in advance and $20 the day of the game. The game will also stream live on the NFHS Network.
