Food, Fun and School Spirit Highlight Bollapalooza

The Bolles Parent Association’s annual Bollapalooza brought all Bolles upper school grade levels together for a festival-style celebration March 20 on the Bolles Hall lawn.

The event featured free food, drinks and games at parent-run booths, including Eminem’s Candy Bowl and Twisted Sister Pretzels. Additional attractions included hairstyling, manicures and glitter provided by Aveda, a petting zoo featuring goats, alpacas and rabbits and a visit from the Jacksonville Mounted Police with horses Jax and Ace. The Duval County Supervisor of Elections was also on site registering eligible students to vote.

Adding to the excitement, the Bolles Spring Pep Rally coincided with Bollapalooza this year, creating a high-energy morning for the upper school community.
