First-graders on the Bolles Lower School Whitehurst Campus hosted a celebration of the state champion Bolles boys’ and girls’ cross country teams in their classroom on November 17. The arrival of the upper school peers created a buzz and excitement in the room, as younger peers approached their winning friends for autographs and conversation. All enjoyed morning snacks and first-graders regaled their guests with cheers and a classroom “running course” demonstration.
