When a firetruck from the St. Johns County Fire and Rescue Department visited campus the Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus this fall, Kindergarten students were very excited to learn more about their work. Along with their Pre-K friends, Kindergartners had been studying community helpers and the important roles they play in our neighborhoods. But duty called during their visit! The firefighters and their cool, gadget-filled truck had to make a hasty departure --  and Pre-K students had to save their visit time for another day. That exciting day came January 16 when the firefighters paid a return visit to campus. Pre-K students enjoyed their long-awaited moment and were not shy about showing how much! Bolles appreciates everything our firefighters, police officers and first responders do for our community!
