Digital Wellness Advocate Connects with Students

Bolles students learned strategies for building healthier relationships with technology during presentations led by digital wellness advocate Dino Ambrosi in early February.

Ambrosi spoke to Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus juniors and seniors on February 3 during a student assembly that addressed tech addiction, conversations about screen time and practical approaches for maintaining balance. He shared why unhealthy tech habits develop and offered guidance on how students can overcome them.

Later that afternoon, Ambrosi met with students on the Bolles Middle School Bartram Campus for a similar session. Both campus presentations lasted about an hour, and students received take‑home resources designed to reinforce healthy digital habits.

Ambrosi founded Project Reboot after confronting his own challenges with tech overuse. His college course at the University of California, Berkeley helped more than 100 students reduce daily screen time by an average of 3.5 hours. Since launching Project Reboot in 2022, he has spoken to more than 60,000 students and parents worldwide, released a TEDx talk with more than 2 million views and created a global tech‑addiction support community.
