Bolles alumna Suzanne Dannheim ’16, a junior on the George Washington University track team, was honored as the Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Track Performer of the Week on April 16. Dannheim earned the recognition for her performance at Bucknell University’s Bison Outdoor Classic, where she bettered her previous school record in the 3000-meter steeplechase by over 15 seconds with a time of 10:23.95, placing third in the event.

Dannheim’s time ranks second in the A-10 this season and 12th among potential NCAA East Preliminary competitors, which should qualify her for the meet to be held in Jacksonville at UNF on May 24. With her likely qualification to the NCAA East meet, Dannheim will become the first member of the GW women’s track and field program to compete in NCAA Championship competition.
