Dancing With Love is a Bolles club whose mission is to share dance with patients in area hospitals, nursing facilities and rehabilitation centers. Club members, all dancers who enjoy taking their talents out into the community as a way of giving back, have not been able to share their passion for dance as a community service for more than a month, due to new physical distancing guidelines.

The group, however, found a way to “give back” to the same facilities they used to visit – but to different recipients. The dancers compiled a thank you video for healthcare workers at Mayo Clinic to show their appreciation for their hard work during the pandemic.

“The students wanted to take this opportunity to share their sincere gratitude for all the doctors, nurses and staff are doing during this difficult time,” said Bolles Director of Dance Angela Blackledge in a message sharing the video link with Mayo employees. “We thank you.”

Mayo official Ashley Pratt said they were very touched by each of the students’ messages. “Please extend our sincere gratitude for their messages and video,” she said.
