As part of their campus’ continuing celebration and study of Hispanic culture this month, Bolles Lower School Whitehurst Campus students enjoyed a morning program and instruction in Latin dance by Jacksonville-based Sakoso Dance School.

Sakoso dance instructors provided a brief history of music genres and taught students several Latin dances including Salsa, Merengue and Bachata.

The group held several programs through the morning on Whitehurst’s outdoor stage and flag area. Students were ready to let their morning moves fly! They learned the basics of each dance then added their special flair. Thank you to the Sakoso dancers for sharing their knowledge of Hispanic culture and dance!
