Chinese Week Begins on Upper School Campus
It’s Chinese Week on the Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus and Bolles students have been busy marking the occasion with fun events and plans upcoming.
On Monday during Zero Hour, students convened to practice Chinese calligraphy in Ulmer 214. On Tuesday morning, students will again begin the day early with Chinese paper-cutting in the same classroom.
More fun kicks in Wednesday with Chinese games and Zao Cao, known as morning exercises, during Activities period in the Ulmer Courtyard. Students will then lead Taiji in the Meditation Garden during Activities period on Thursday. The week winds down with a treat – a Boba Tea and Pocky sale at the Benches. Happy Chinese Week, Bulldogs!
