Trisha Chakravarty ’20 and her dance team, “Bollywood Thunder,” competed in a dance contest at the Jacksonville Iceman hockey game February 15 and won first place – as well as a $500 prize! As top winner, the team was given the opportunity to showcase their dance during the game’s halftime show.

The event was held as part of Indian Heritage Night, a first time event for the hockey team. Chakravarty also sang the Indian National Anthem at the game. Directed by her mother, Aparna Chakravarty, children of The Sargam Music School joined Chakravarty in the presentation.
