Several swimmers with Bolles ties will be competing in the revised USA Swimming Olympic Trials, with Wave I beginning Friday, June 4. The Olympic Trials will be divided into two competitions, with Wave I on June 4-7 and Wave II on June 13-20. Wave II will continue to serve as the sole qualifier for pool swimmers on the U.S. Olympic Team for the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Wave II includes athletes who have already met certain qualifying standards. Athletes who finish in the top two of each event in Wave I will advance to the Wave II competition, where the top two swimmers in each event make the US Olympic Team.
Bolles swimmers qualified for Wave II include defending gold medalists Ryan Murphy ’13 and Caeleb Dressel (former Sharks club member), along with Claire Rasmus ’15, Kensey McMahon (former Sharks club member) and Sherridon Dressel (former Sharks club member). Wave I qualifiers include Jake Gibbons '15, Paul DeGrado ’19, Cobi Lopez Miro ’19, Jacob Pishko ’21 and current and former Sharks Jack Vandeusen, Dakota Mahaffey and Isaac Davis.
