Bolles Students Host Thanksgiving Food Drives

Bolles students on all four campuses hosted food drives ahead of Thanksgiving to provide nourishment and necessities for families across Northeast Florida.

The Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus community collected goods for the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation. The Ponte Vedra Beach Campus has a longstanding partnership with the nonprofit, which has provided youth development programs in Jacksonville since 1996.

Drives on the Bolles Lower School Whitehurst Campus, Middle School Bartram Campus and Upper School San Jose Campus benefited Woodland Acres Elementary School, which has a food bank that distributes food to families in need.

Bolles Director of College Counseling Daphne Vagenas said the Bulldogs’ collective efforts resulted in an abundance of donations that a team of upper school students delivered to Woodland Acres on November 22. Vagenas, who served as the lead chaperone on the trip, and her crew of volunteers packed multiple vehicles before traveling to Woodland Acres and spending time unloading and stocking the food pantry. #BulldogsInspiringGoodness
