Bolles Spanish language students excelled at the Florida State Spanish Conference, held March 10-12 at the Orlando Wyndham Resort in Orlando.

The competition is an opportunity for high school language students around the state to compete among themselves in the fields of declamation, impromptu speech and dramatic presentations.

In the Impromptu Competition, the following students received the highest award – the  “Sobresaliente” Award (Highest Award). Those indicated by an asterisk achieved a perfect score in the competition: Kondu, McClure, Tun*, Donovan*, Piperno, Gummadi*, Bansal*, Dovellos*, Ertekin-Taner*, Taher, Pillai*, Relan*, Abbey and Cucoranu*.

In the Theater competition, the following students received a “Sobresaliente” Award with many achieving a perfect score: Kondu*, Tun*, Donovan*, Piperno*, Gummadi*, Dovellos*, Lankarani*, Taher*, Abbey* and Ertekin-Taner*.

In the Poetry competition, Pillai, Relan* , Cucoranu*  and Bansal* won “Sobresaliente” Awards (Highest Award). Senior team member, Ertekin-Taner was selected to perform at the banquet and earned 1^st place in the singing division. Felicidades, Bulldogs!
