The Bolles Speech and Debate Team commenced its competitive season with a tournament held at Eastside High School in Gainesville, Florida. The Bolles team was recognized at the awards assembly as the top-ranking school in the St. Augustine Catholic Forensic League (SACFL) for the past two years.

The Bolles School Speech and Debate Team director Bob Hutchings was presented with the SACFL Giant Gavel during the convocation. With a dozen schools present, Bolles captured top awards including the following:
