Bolles Robotics Team Earns Bid to State Tournament

FIRST LEGO League team The Byte Side represented The Bolles School with incredible skill, teamwork and spirit at the Northeast Florida Regional Championships, held December 18-20. The team earned a bid to the Florida Robot Rally Invitational Tournament, taking place June 24-25 in Apopka, Florida.

Bolles Robotics coach Gabi Fudge said the middle schoolers committed themselves to achieving their personal best throughout the season, and that dedication was on full display.

“Their strong focus on Core Values guided every step of their journey, from collaboration and gracious professionalism to perseverance and creativity,” Fudge said. “The team made remarkable strides in both their Innovation Project and Robot Design Presentations, showing dramatic improvement and confidence. Every member demonstrated impressive growth in engineering, research and innovation skills, reflecting countless hours of effort, curiosity and problem solving.”

Beyond the competition floor, The Byte Side proudly represented the Bolles community – forming new friendships, building connections with teams across the region and embodying the spirit of teamwork and discovery that robotics is all about.

Congratulations to these outstanding students on an amazing season so far. Onward to Apopka! #BollesRobotics
