Both Bolles lower school campuses participated in this year’s National Anthem movement, a simultaneous, coast to coast sing-a-long of the Star-Spangled Banner. At precisely 1 p.m. EST, students around the country sang the National Anthem together in a show of student solidarity and support. Sponsored by the American Public Education Foundation, the event brought students together -- as the world came together -- in the weeks and months following September 11, 2001. Students on the Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus sang the anthem under the direction of music and drama teacher Stacey Posick. Beth and Olivia Zerkowski directed students on the Bolles Lower School Whitehurst Campus. Both Bolles sing-a-longs were held at their campus flag pavilions.
