Each May 1, the Bolles community celebrates senior students by allowing them the opportunity to wear clothing associated with the college or university they’ve selected to attend. Under normal circumstances, the class gathers on the steps of the Bent Student Center for a group photo regaling their college choices.
Bolles promoted the same high level of enthusiasm this year, but in the virtual realms. Faculty asked students to attend distance learning classes in their college gear and made time to celebrate this achievement together online. Some faculty took photos of the virtual gathering.
The greater Bolles community continues to honor senior students and their college selections on Bolles.org and via its official and affiliated social media pages. A dedicated page, www.Bolles.org/celebrating-seniors , includes all stories, photos and lists pertaining to seniors – including a senior headshot and senior quote section, a photo album of the senior bricks, college athletic commitments and a link to a Class of 2020-managed Instagram page called @Bolles2020Seniors, which lists students and their college choices.
Happy College Shirt Day, Seniors!
