Bolles Alumni and Faculty Nominated for BroadwayWorld Awards

Several members of the Bolles community are in the spotlight this season with nominations for BroadwayWorld Jacksonville’s annual awards.

Bolles Lower School Whitehurst Campus drama teacher Daniel Austin is nominated for Best Direction of a Musical for “Desperate Measures” at Theatre Jacksonville. Bolles alumna Morgan Perry ’13 also earned a nomination for Best Performer in a Musical for the same production, while Rachel Johns ’19 is recognized as a nominee for Best Featured Performer in a Play for her role in “Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors.”

Theatre Jacksonville, led by Bolles alum Sarah Boone ’81, is also up for Favorite Local Theatre, adding another strong Bolles connection to the local arts scene.
