The Bolles varsity boys’ and girls’ basketball teams were both been named as recipients of the 2024-25 First Coast Basketball Officials Association (FCBOA) Sportsmanship Award. The award is given on behalf of the FCBOA Board of Directors and the 55 officials in the association. Members of the FCBOA Board visited the San Jose Campus on March 27 to present the trophies to the players and coaches.

In announcing the recognition to the Bolles coaches, FCBOA President Chuck Forcier noted that both teams “exemplify the true spirit of high school sports. Your teams are led by example and your student athletes are a model for sportsmanship in the sport.”

Congratulations to Boys’ Head Coach DeAndre Walker, Girls’ Head Coach Kelly Stevenson and all the assistant coaches and players of both teams for modeling the Bolles Athletics statement: “Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.”
