Bansal ’24 Shines at State-Wide Trial Advocacy Institute

Bolles senior Amber Bansal ’24 participated in the annual state-wide Al J. Cone Trial Advocacy Institute sponsored by the Florida Justice Association August 9-12 at the invitation of Jamie Holland, an esteemed local attorney and mentor for the Bolles mock trial team.

Bansal, who is the co-president of the mock trial team, was the only student at any level to attend the seminar, which allows professional lawyers to sharpen their skills, walk through the entire trial process and receive immediate feedback from Florida’s most successful trial lawyers.

The established lawyers teaching the classes and the program participants remarked on how well Bansal performed, with some commenting that she outshined the junior lawyers in attendance. Her impressive contributions led to workshop organizers inviting Bansal to attend the program again next year.

Bansal also took part in the Bank of America Student Leaders® program this summer, traveling to Washington, D.C. with 300 high school students from across the nation who were hand-selected from more than 5,000 applications. She spent the week meeting with political leaders and senior management at Bank of America and was asked by her peers to speak about their collective experience in front of national leaders.

We’re #BulldogProud of you, Amber!
