Bolles Director of Global Learning and Engagement Natalia Aycart recently completed her Global Education Benchmark Group (GEBG) Action Research Fellowship. Aycart’s research topic was investigating faculty’s understanding of global competence and key concepts across a large, multi-campus school.
She conducted her research throughout the 2021-22 school year and will share her findings with Bolles administration during this academic year. Aycart plans to continue using action research as a tool for furthering global education at Bolles.
GEBG’s Action Research Fellows Program facilitates learning and utilizes action research to improve the practice of global education at individual schools and contribute to the field at large. Participants determine a topic of interest related to their current practice and existing goals, and they participate in a yearlong cohort-based program that meets once per month for 90 minutes.
The organization is sharing fellows’ researching findings at its conference as well as through posts on The Exchange blog.
