Setting a School record, four Bolles students received five National Awards from the Scholastics National Visual Art and Writing Awards competition.

Audrey Cheng ’22, Lars Jendruschewitz ’23, Lara Morello ’21 and Avery Lambert ’22 each won a National Silver Medal for their entries and Lambert won an additional Gold Medal for a second entry.

“We are very proud of these students and appreciate the support of their teachers, Tiffany Gonzalez, Patty Kmieciak and Jesse Meyers,” said Bolles Director of Fine and Performing Arts Laura Rippel.

These students all achieved regional gold key awards in the Northeast Florida Scholastic Art Awards, held in early February. They will now be eligible for scholarship offers from several prestigious art schools and their teachers are eligible for gift certificates from contest sponsors.
