Spring Week Convocation for grades 9-12, during Activities Period in the Davis Gym on Wednesday, Feb 27.

Junior Seminar meeting during Activities on Thursday, Feb 28 in McGehee Auditorium.

Senior Class meeting during Activities on Friday, Feb 29 in McGehee Auditorium.

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT

Leigh Meadows will meet Wednesday, Feb 27 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.  Please join us for relay games and a snack.

Any student interested in information about Federal Financial Aid for college, please see Mr. Mischinski in the Academic Office.

Do you like nice fresh donuts? Then come to the flagpole during Zero Hour and during Activities on Friday, Feb 29 to buy some delicious donuts. They will be $1.00 each; the money goes towards the Japanese Club’s goal of raising awareness and understanding of the Japanese culture. Enjoy!

CLUB MEETINGS/UPCOMING EVENTS

Students are reminded that the “Special Events” area located next to the stadium is off limits to students.  While you are welcome to move your vehicles to spaces in Lot A, C, or D after school, no student should be parking in “Special Events” without permission from the Dean’s Office.

There will be an important Teen Angels’ meeting on Wednesday, Feb 27 in Mrs. Curran’s room, S-215, during Activities Period.  All members need to attend. 

Mandatory Debate Club meeting for all members and prospective members:  Wednesday, Feb 27 in S-213, Mr. Dickson’s room.  Bring your schedules through Spring Break, please.

If you would like to be a team leader for one of the four Cystic Fibrosis walks coming up in April or May, please see Ms. Moyer.  Not only is this an excellent organization that will make you feel good about helping out, it is also a way to get many community service hours.

If you are a junior who needs help with your college essay, do not miss this week’s Junior Seminar: How to write a dynamite college essay! The essay can be a pivotal part of your college application – even at UF and FSU and on Thursday, Feb 28, the college counseling staff will walk you through the necessary steps to write a compelling essay.  Note: All junior seminars will be held in McGehee Auditorium during Activities Period.  In addition to the mandatory seminars on April 3, and April 17, juniors must have attended at least 2 of the 4 other sessions by the end of this semester.
