Word of the Day: copacetic (adj) excellent; first-rate origin unknown, perhaps New Orleans jazz slang). When I heard Ginsberg chanting Blake and playing on the zither, there was only one thing to say: copacetic.

The second MANDATORY Junior Seminar will be Thursday, April 3. This session will teach you how to present yourself in person to a college admission officer either here at Bolles, on a college visit, or on paper (via the application).  If an interview is not part of a college’s review process, you still have opportunities to make a good impression, even if it is on the application.  Tips on filling out college applications, both electronically and on paper will also be provided. Note: All junior seminars will be held in McGehee Auditorium during Activities period.  In addition to the mandatory seminars on April 3, and April 17, juniors must attend at least 2 of the 4 other sessions.

All Congreso Participants:  There will be a mandatory meeting of all the students attending Congreso on Wednesday, April 2nd, during Activities Period in Srta.’s room U-207.  This is the last time we will meet as a group before leaving for Orlando on Thursday, April 3, so it very important that you attend and that you be prompt.  Last-minute trip details will be discussed, and afterwards, we will have a final dress rehearsal for the play.  Please let your Spanish teacher know if there is a conflict.

CLUB MEETINGS/UPCOMING EVENTS
