Rising Sr. Officer Speeches will be on Friday, April 25 during Activities in McGehee.

TODAYS EVENTS

Sophomore Leadership: Please come to the flagpole today Tuesday, April 22 to donate $5.00 for Denim Day on Wednesday, April 23. All proceeds go to Community Connections, single women and children’s shelter.

Girls Soccer: We are going to have a meeting immediately after school on Tuesday, April 22nd in the Athletic Office conference room.  This is for all girls interested in playing soccer next year, as well as all returning players from this year.

On Tuesday, April 22, the Bolles Upper School Chorus groups will be presenting their Spring Cabaret Concert in McGehee Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Please make plans to join them for an exciting evening featuring hit songs from the musicals Hairspray, Jekyll and Hyde, Jersey Boys and The Wiz, as well as pieces from the movie Les Choristes. Senior Chorus members will be honored, so it promises to be a special night of great music!

Senior Week Dress:

Tuesday, April 22-Tacky Tourist Tuesday

Floral print or Hawaiian collared shirts

Uniform or bright colored pants, regulation skirts

Accessories (camera, fanny packs, sunglasses, tourist hats, etc.

Dress code shoes

No tank tops, t-shirts, shorts

Students not participating must wear regular dress code attire.

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT

Attention AP American Government Students:  The AP Exam will be on Monday, May 5 at 8:00 a.m.  Please stop by Mr. Whitehouse’s room to pick up a cop of the practice exam, review materials, and the review session schedule.  Please email Mr. Whitehouse with any questions.

Need Service Hours? Then participate in the March of Dimes Walk on Saturday, April 26. We will need teams of ten, with a team captain for each. There is a $10.00 entrance fee for each team. If you are interested please sign up outside Ms. Moyer’s office B-218 by Thursday, April 24, and you will receive more information. Please feel free to contact Savannah Wood or Mandy Fatemi if you have any questions.

College t-shirts, sweatshirts or jerseys (no tank tops or shirts without sleeves)
Khaki walking shorts of appropriate length with at least a 7” inseam, uniform pants, regulation skirts
Athletic shoes permitted
Students not participating must wear regular dress code attire.
Friday, April 25-Senior Jeans Day
ONLY Seniors may wear Jean pants. (No denim shorts, skirts, etc.)
Collared shirts with a Bolles logo that are permitted on Wednesdays, may be worn.
Students not participating must wear regular dress code attire. No other dress code variations, including ties, will be permitted.

There will be a Girls’ Night In planning meeting Thursday, April 24 during Activities Period in the Alumni Conference Room.  All current junior girls are eligible to participate.  Please see Ms. Vagenas or Mrs. Cussen if you cannot attend or have questions.

Seniors your Senior Bar-B-Q is going to take place on Thursday, April 24th.  Come out to the baseball field during your lunch hour for free MoJo’s pulled pork, turkey, beans and more, compliments of the Senior Class Parents and the Parent Association.  This is a senior only event.

This is the last week to bring in canned goods for the Bulldog Ton.  Please contribute.

Please bring any additional prom wear for the Palm Ave School to the Dean’s Office.  The collection ends on Wednesday, April 23.

Basketball: Anyone interested in playing basketball next year, there will be a meeting during Activities in Coach Mullings classroom B-227 on Wednesday, April 23. Summer plans and next year’s schedule will be handed out during the meeting.

“Is Your Refrigerator Running?”- Ever wondered what the modern day Leave it To Beaver Family would be like?  Come out and see this student written and produced play in Lynch Theatre on Thursday, April 24 and Friday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m.  Admission is free but seating is limited so reservations are suggested.  Reservations can be made by emailing   See you there!

Need community service hours? Come help us distribute clothing for Dignity-U-Wear! There will be a meeting during Activities on Wednesday, April 23 in Mrs. Lunsford's room B-231 to discuss the dates of our upcoming service project. All AP Students:  There will be a mandatory AP Pre-Administration Session on Wednesday, April 23 during Activities Period in the Cafeteria.  Bring a No. 2 pencil and be prompt.  Please contact Mrs. Denmark if you have a conflict.

If you need community service hours and you like children, come to the Ponte Vedra Campus Spring Fling Carnival on April 27.  For more information sign up outside of B-218.

Bulldog Ton helpers please meet in front of the Art Building 25 minutes into your lunch period on the days you are signed up for.

Attention students:  If you are interested in applying for a campus parking space for next school year, please stop by the Dean’s Office and pick up an application.  Forms will be available starting on Monday, April 7 and need to be completed and returned to the Dean’s Office by Friday, May 9.  Due to the anticipated number of students filling out applications, not all students will be guaranteed a spot on campus.  Thanks for your understanding and please stop by the Dean’s Office with any questions.
