CONVOCATION/CLASS MEETINGS
Mandatory Convocation for Seniors during Activities on Wednesday, Apr. 2 in McGehee Auditorium.
Mandatory Honors Convocation on Monday, April 7 in the Davis Gym for grades 9 –12.
TODAYS EVENTS
Leigh Meadows will meet Wednesday, April 2 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Please join us for an activity and snack with the visiting children.
There will be a Speech and Hearing Club meeting during Activities in Mrs. Fluegel’s room B-136 on Wednesday, April 2 to discuss Friday’s Bake Sale. Contact Sarah Slater with questions.
All Congreso Participants: There will be a mandatory meeting of all the students attending Congreso today Wednesday, April 2nd, during Activities Period in Srta.’s room U-207. This is the last time we will meet as a group before leaving for Orlando on Thursday, April 3, so it very important that you attend and that you be prompt. Last-minute trip details will be discussed, and afterwards, we will have a final dress rehearsal for the play. Please let your Spanish teacher know if there is a conflict.
Students: Do you know someone who has been involved here at Bolles or brought recognition to Bolles through their involvement in the Community this quarter? If so, please complete a nomination for President’s List for Quarter 3. Remember that the majority of the work or service that a student has done should have been done during this quarter. Please have these turned in to the Academic Office no later than noon on Thursday, April 3. The Committee meets on Friday, April 4. Forms may be picked up from Mrs. Nettles in the Academic Office.
NEW ANNOUNCEMENT
Attention students: If you are interested in applying for a campus parking space for next school year, please stop by the Dean’s Office and pick up an application. Forms will be available starting Monday, April 7 and need to be completed and returned to the Dean’s Office by Friday, April 9. Due to the anticipated number of students filling out applications, not all students will be guaranteed a spot on campus. Thanks for your understanding and please stop by the Dean’s Office with any questions.
Seniors, if you want your pictures in the Senior Slide Show you need to get copies of them to Peyton Skinner or Ms. Moyer in B-218 ASAP. Let’s hope that there will be a ton of pictures so please be sure to hand over copies of your photos. We will do our best to get yours back to you but cannot make promises to that end.

The following students are attending the French State Competition Thursday, April 3 – Saturday, April 5. Morgan O’Hare, Casey Stamps, Kristin Drew, Alexandra Morrison, Jordan Prewitt, Abigail Hunger, Lina Bahri, Annie Ungrady, Sarah Dibble, Gaby Fares. Maggie Howell, Kenan Ashouri, Mitra Khosravi, Sarah Greenblum, Kaitlin Sparks, Sarah Stough, Christina Lambiase and Haley Hakimian. The bus is leaving Thursday, April 3 after Activities Period.
The second MANDATORY Junior Seminar will be Thursday, April 3. This session will teach you how to present yourself in person to a college admission officer either here at Bolles, on a college visit, or on paper (via the application). If an interview is not part of a college’s review process, you still have opportunities to make a good impression, even if it is on the application. Tips on filling out college applications, both electronically and on paper will also be provided. Note: All junior seminars will be held in McGehee Auditorium during Activities period. In addition to the mandatory seminars on April 3, and April 17, juniors must attend at least 2 of the 4 other sessions.

Attention all juniors and sophomores, there will be a mandatory convocation for you on Friday, April 4 during Activities in McGehee regarding the future of dances on campus and anyone interested in running for a student council position for next year.
Notice of change of period length for Thursday, April 3. On Thursday, April 3, we will need to shorten periods 1-3 to accommodate an extended Convocation for grade 11.
