Sean Mullings

Sean Mullings, a mathematics teacher, joined the Bolles' faculty in 2006. He became the boys' volleyball head coach in 2007. He also was named head coach of the boys' varsity basketball team in 2007 after serving as an assistant coach during the 2006-07 season.

Prior to Bolles, Mullings served on the Grandview Preparatory School staff in Boca Raton, Florida. At Grandview, he served as head coach for both girls' varsity volleyball and girls' varsity basketball. During his tenure at Grandview, he guided the volleyball team to its first regional appearance and the basketball team to its first district title and regional playoff appearance.

Born in Jamaica, Mullings grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Xaverian High School where he lettered in three varsity sports (basketball, volleyball, and track & field). While in high school, Mullings competed in the Empire State Games and the Junior Olympics for volleyball. He was ranked 75th in Hoop Scoop Magazine's top high school seniors in New York City.

Mullings went on to play basketball for Long Island University and C.W. Post. As a junior at C.W. Post, Mullings participated in the NCAA Division II national tournament. He has played and coached basketball on several levels, highlighted by his professional playing career in England and his coaching stint with the Brookdale Pro-Am basketball team. Mullings has also served as the director of the All American Basketball School 's North Elementary Camp in Ft. Lauderdale and the 5-Star Basketball Camp in Orlando.

Mullings earned a bachelor of science in public accountancy through his coursework at both Long Island University and C.W. Post, and a master of business administration focusing in global management from the University of Phoenix.

Mullings moved to Jacksonville where he and his wife, Jennifer, were married on November 25, 2006.

Scott Furtwengler

Scott Furtwengler, a native of Highland, Illinois, began coaching volleyball in 2002 in southern Illinois at Carbondale Community High School. Furtwengler also founded and served as director and coach of the Southern Illinois Volleyball Club-Juniors. Six of the players Furtwengler has coached have gone on to play at the collegiate level.

Furtwengler was the advisor to the men's and women's volleyball clubs at Southern Illinois University and the site director for the United States Youth Volleyball League in Carbondale. He has served as a clinician at summer camps at Southern Illinois University, is certified as a regional scorekeeper, and has served as an NCAA official.

Furtwengler has played both indoor and beach doubles in USA Volleyball. Furtwengler studied sport psychology at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
