Florida Swimming Junior Olympics Update
The Bolles Sharks traveled to Gainesville, Florida for the Florida Swimming Junior Olympics on February 22-25, 2007. Our spirit of, “Somebody’s Gotta Do It” certainly left a resonance in the O’Dome in Gainesville. We suited up and took on our competitors of Florida Swimming with a vengeance. From the first swim to the last swim our athletes swam their hearts out.
We donned our blue caps and set the racing in motion. We marched into the O’Dome with a mission: swimming fast, representing Bolles with integrity and winning JOs. Though we fell short of the team championship, our athletes are champions in our hearts. We swam with pride and showed great integrity in victory and defeat. We had many individual champions and relay champions but it was truly a team effort that made this possible. We had many athletes contribute to the team with individual and relay swims but also with team spirit and a great cheering section. With that being said we would like to congratulate all our athletes that made this meet such a great success:
