Matt Tracy
Varsity Head Coach
Matt Tracy became the Bolles varsity girls' soccer head coach in 2005 after serving as the junior varsity girls' head coach in 2004-05. He currently serves on the faculty at Andrew Jackson High School.
In the 2006-07 season, Tracy led the Bulldogs to a 17-5-3 record, a district title, and into the regional finals. In his first season as the Bolles girls' varsity head coach, he guided the team to a 20-5-2 record, region and district championship titles, and to the state final four.
Prior to Bolles, Tracy has served as a girls' varsity soccer head coach for one season at Providence School and three seasons at Jackson. He has also coached for eight years with the Premiere Level Boys for the First Coast Soccer Association in Jacksonville and two years with the Premiere Level Girls for the Bowie Soccer Association in Maryland. In addition to coaching soccer, Tracy has served as the varsity head coach for the tennis and volleyball teams at Jackson.
Tracy played collegiate soccer for American University, where he was a member of the Eagles' 1985 NCAA runner-up squad. He later transferred to the University of Maryland to complete his undergraduate studies.
Tracy 's wife, Jeri, is a member of the Fletcher High School faculty. The couple has four sons: Sean, Brendan, Nicholas, and Dylan.
Kate Bowles
Varsity Assistant Coach
Kate Bowles joined the Bolles girls' soccer staff in 2005. She brings a wealth of soccer experience to the program. She currently serves on the faculty at Orange Park High School.
A four-year starter at defender in college, she began her career at Boise State University before transferring after her freshman year to the University of Southern Mississippi. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in management from USM in 2002.
Upon graduation, she moved to Austin, Texas, where she coached a U-16 girl's team. Currently, she coaches the U-15 girl's team for Jacksonville Youth Soccer Club.
Bowles attended high school at Orange Park High School where she earned All-State and All-Conference honors as a junior and senior on the Raiders' girls' soccer team. She helped the team to two Florida Star Conference Championship titles, three district titles and two state tournament appearances. She also played play two summer seasons with the Jacksonville Jade.
Bowles continues to play soccer with the Northeast Florida Soccer League.
Caroline Morris '96
Junior Varsity Coach
Caroline Farmer Morris, a 1996 graduate of Bolles, joined the Bolles College Counseling staff in 2007. She returns to coaching at Bolles after serving as a junior varsity girls' soccer coach during the 2005-06 season as well. A member of Bolles' 1994 and 1995 state championship soccer teams, Morris continued her love of soccer while playing intramural soccer in college.
Morris holds a master's in education from the University of North Florida, a master's in social work from Columbia University, and her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.
Julio Morales
Junior Varsity Assistant Coach
Julio Morales joined the Bolles girls' soccer staff in 2007, assisting with the junior varsity squad. His previous coaching experience includes the Jefferson Davis Middle School girls' soccer team while he was a student at FCCJ and a beginner women's team for several years with the Beaches Adult Soccer League. He also currently coaches a U13 boys' team with Jacksonville Youth Soccer.
Morales was born in Columbia and moved with his family to the United States when he was six years old. A skilled player with extensive knowledge of the game, Morales started playing soccer at a very young age. Soccer is in his blood as his grandfather was on the Columbian national team for a brief stint and his father plays as well.
Morales attended Jefferson Davis Middle School and Forrest High School in Jacksonville. He played soccer at both schools. After high school, he attended FCCJ and played soccer locally for the Beaches Adult Soccer League.
