Boys’ Soccer Coaches
Jim Lieb
Varsity Head Coach
Jim Lieb joined the Bolles staff in 1997 and became boys' varsity soccer head coach in 1999. Lieb has compiled a 151-51-37 record during his first eight years on the sidelines. He has led the Bulldogs to the state final four for five consecutive seasons from 2002-06. During his coaching tenure, Bolles boys' soccer teams have also won five region and five district championship titles, including one trip to the state championship final. Lieb has also coached 40 players to All-District honors, 11 have been named All-State, and six have been named the district player-of-the-year. In 2006, Chase Decker was named state player-of-the-year in Class 3A, and Matt McGurrin was named as the Florida Times-Union player-of-the-year in 2003.
Lieb played collegiate soccer at the University of Scranton from 1986-89, and he currently holds a USSF coaching license. He has been named the district coach-of-the-year four times. In 2005, Lieb was named the FACA District 6 coach-of-the-year, which covers much of the greater Jacksonville area, and in 2006, Lieb was named as the state coach-of-the-year in Class 3A. Lieb also currently serves on the Coach's Advisory committee for the FHSAA, and teaches biology, physics, and neuroscience on the Upper School San Jose Campus.

Varsity Assistant Coach
Patrick Stone
Junior Varsity Head Coach
Patrick Stone joined the Bolles boys' soccer program in 2005 as the junior varsity head coach. Prior to Bolles, Stone coached for three years in the Jacksonville Youth Soccer Club.
Stone played collegiate soccer for two years at Lenoir-Rhyne College. A Jacksonville native, he graduated from Bishop Kenny High School where he was an All-City and All-State soccer player as a junior and senior.
Stone is a system project leader for the Jacksonville Electric Authority. His wife, Beth, teaches math and is a freshmen advisor on the Upper School San Jose Campus and they have two children at Bolles: Jacob '16 and Makayla '19.
Michael Eaton
Junior Varsity Assistant Coach
Michael Eaton joined the Bolles boys' soccer staff in 2007. He is also a trainer and select coach for the Jacksonville Youth Soccer Club. Eaton began his coaching career 12 years ago in the Tri-City area of Tennessee.
Eaton grew up in the Jacksonville area where he started playing at the Jacksonville Youth Soccer Club in 1978. He is proud to be a part of the same organization with his own children. Eaton attended Nease High School, where he played midfielder on the soccer team and kicker for the football team.
Eaton played collegiate soccer at Brevard College in North Carolina. He then transferred and graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He is the manager of GIS and engineering systems for JEA.
