Camp Philosophy:
Each session of the Bolles Basketball Camp will provide five days of instruction in the fundamentals of basketball. The camp will be broken down into a series of different stations where the campers learn offensive and defensive fundamentals including shooting, passing, defensive stance, and rebounding. The camp will also consist of skill challenges, 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 team play. All campers will be grouped according to age and ability. The following is an example of each day’s activities:

  • Group Stretching
  • Group Ball Handling
  • Fundamental Stations
  • Skill Challenges
  • 3 on 3 team play
  • 5 on 5 team play
  • Please note: Lunch is not provided; however,there will be two snack breaks during the day.

    Camp Instructors:

    Kelly Stevenson

    Varsity Girls’ Basketball, Bolles Kelly Stevenson is in her fourth year of coaching basketball at Bolles.A graduate of Nease High School, as a senior she helped the Panthers to a state title as Most Valuable Player in the tournament. Prior to Bolles, she was director of women’s basketball operations at UNC Charlotte, helping the 49ers win the Atlantic 10 Conference title last season. In 2004-05, she was an assistant coach at Furman University. Coach Stevenson is a graduate of the University of Florida, and was a member of the Gators women’s basketball team and was a three-time Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll selection. She was the first-ever player to sign with the Jacksonville University women’s basketball team in 1999.

    Sean Mullings

    Varsity Boys’ Basketball, Bolles Sean Mullings is in his fourth year of coaching basketball at Bolles. He has played professionally in England and coached the Brookdale Pro-Am basketball team. Prior to Bolles, Mullings served as head coach for both girls’ varsity volleyball and girls’ varsity basketball at Grandview Prep School, in Boca Raton, FL. He played NCAA Division I basketball for the Long Island University Blackbirds and the NCAA Division II C.W. Post Pioneers, where he participated in the NCAA Division II national tournament. Mullings attended Xaverian High School in Brooklyn, NY, where he lettered in basketball, volleyball, and track & field. While in high school, Coach Mullings played volleyball in the Empire State Games and the Junior Olympics, and was ranked 75th in Hoop Scoop Magazine’s top high school seniors in the entire city.
