    Economics, Philanthropy Define 8th Grade Biz Projects

    A two-day learning venture at the Bolles Middle School Bartram Campus gave eighth-graders a memorable lesson in business and philanthropy. The result was more than $3,500 in fundraising dollars to support a local Dreams Come True child.

    Bolles Senior’s Internship Leads to Published Paper

    Matthew McPhillips ’13 has developed a capacity for excellence in the classroom and on the stage – having played key roles in "Hello Dolly," "The Man Who Came to Dinner," and "And Then There Were None." But last summer, McPhillips took his All Things Possible mindset to a new venue: a medical research lab at the University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute.

    Nine Bolles student-athletes were honored on May 17 for committing to a particular college or university to continue their athletic and academic careers.



    Parents Association Lunch a Golden Moment

    The 2013 Bolles Parent Association Golden Bulldog Awards and annual meeting lunch presentation on May 14 drew a star-lit crowd to the Davis Gym, which was glamorously transformed into a red-carpet venue for the occasion.



    Run Life Club Supports One Fund Boston

    The Bolles Run Life Club, led by President Lily Arnold ’14 and Vice-president Josh Costa ’15, hosted the Bolles Run for Boston on May 13.



    Club Fulfills Dream for Local Child

    The Dreams Come True club on the Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus hosted a party in the Varn Board Room on May 10 to honor Tate, an ill 12-year-old girl who will benefit from the club’s yearlong fundraising efforts.



    ‘You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown’ Takes Stage, Plans Tour

    The Peanuts gang took the Parker Auditorium Stage by storm this month for a delightful performance of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, and even the Little Red-Haired Girl acted out some of life’s biggest lessons for a packed Bolles Middle School Bartram Campus house.

    ‘What’s in a Name?’ Shakespeare Day at Bartram

    Eighth grade students representing the Montague and Capulet ‘families’ helped transform the Bolles Middle School Bartram Campus into a hub of Shakespearean activity this month. From inspiring stage performances to games, costumed students enjoyed bringing their classroom curriculums to life.



    Burke ’11 Named Academic All-District

    Bolles alumna Meagan Burke ’11 was named to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-District Softball Team.
