Mu Alpha Theta Team Competes in Contest

The Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus Mu Alpha Theta team put their calculations to the test this weekend during their final regional competition of the season.

The competition was held March 2 at Flagler Palm Coast high School. Bolles fielded complete teams in Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics with 17 students competing. The Statistics team (pictured above) of Angel Jin, Elizabeth Pogrebniak, Pengbo Zhoa, and Chris Chen won the fourth place trophy in the regional competition.

The Pre-Calculus team (pictured below) of David Chen, Hwajin Kang, Swetha Davuluri, and Aaisha Gulani (missing from photo), captured the fifth place trophy. Amy Song of the Algebra II team was the high scorer for Bolles.
