Agnes Cain Painter & Glynlea Society

Bolles Hall corridorAs a tribute to the founder of The Bolles School, the Agnes Cain Painter Society was established by the Board of Trustees in 1980 to honor donors whose leadership gifts provided the resources to further the aims of Mrs. Painter and her vision of establishing Bolles as the finest college preparatory school in the South. In 1992, the Society was renamed the Agnes Cain Painter & Glynlea Society in recognition of the new members from Bartram School. Glynlea was the original name of Bartram when it was founded in 1934. Today the Society includes all friends who support the School with contributions of $1,933 or more annually.

Golden Grands:
Through the vision of Nancy and Gil Pomar and Kitty and Wayne Davis, the Golden Grands were established in the 2004-05 school year to recognize grandparents and great-grandparents who go above and beyond in their support of Bolles by contributing gifts at the Agnes Cain Painter & Glynlea Society level. These distinctive donors are recognized at a special dinner in the spring.

1997-2016 Alumni: Join the Junior Founders!
The Junior Founders was established in 2004-05 to recognize our young alumni. By joining this group, young alumni are given the opportunity to demonstrate their support for Bolles by becoming members of the Agnes Cain Painter & Glynlea Society at a reduced level.
