Lower School Grade 5 Students Share Memories of Whitehurst
As the “big dogs on the lower school campus," Grade 5 students took time at their celebration dinner to reflect upon their years on the Whitehurst Campus. Each student had written their thoughts and presented them in front of their fellow classmates, parents and teachers. The students did an amazing job as their sweet memories brought tears to many in the room.
“We as teachers and faculty love these kids so much, but it was amazing to hear each of their testaments and know that they love us right back,” said Grade 5 teacher Melissa Williams. “The words they wrote were so heartfelt and so genuine, all I needed to do was glue them on a notecard so they could read them aloud.”
They recognized the teachers who made an impact on them, sighting favorite projects, subjects and true-life experiences. When you read through what each child wrote above in the flip book, you know why everyone always calls Bolles such a special place.
